Slide Gate Mechanism Introduction:

Raw material is nodular cast iron. Sealing height is only 110mm. The fan-shape plate is equipped with two slide gate plate. The mobile fan-shape case handle can be used to open the equipment and move outer side plate to other side, then change the slide gate plate accordingly.

The sliding nozzle device is installed at the bottom of the ladle to control the steel flow speed and carry out reasonable casting. The sliding nozzle device can be classified in the following ways: according to the number of slide blocks that constitute the sliding nozzle system, it can be divided into two-layer type and three-layer type.


There are two slide plates in the two-layer sliding nozzle system, namely the upper slide plate and the lower slide plate. The upper slide plate does not move during operation, and the lower slide plate is used to intercept and throttle.


There are three slide plates in the three-layer sliding nozzle mechanism, namely upper slide plate, middle slide plate and lower slide plate. The upper and lower slide plates do not move during operation, and the middle slide plate is used to control the liquid steel flow.


Slide Gate Mechanism Advantages:

Our slide gate has advantages as following,

1. Slip sheet with equal forced and good stability.

2. Slide gate lateral clearance self-regulating sensitivity is high.

3. Increse the slip sheet’s freedom, bottom slide can fine-tuning.

4. Has double-slided tight pin; the gab of hinge lateral can be adjusted.
