Ladle Purging Plug Introduction:
Ladle purging plug has been in the leading position in domestic and abroad over years. We have developed the series of corundum, chromium corundum, low silicon chromium corundum and corundum spinel one after another. 

Ladle purging plug is a very important functional element in the out-of-furnace refining technology. Inert gases such as argon are introduced into the molten steel through the ladle purging plug at the bottom of the ladle to provide power for the stirring of the molten steel to achieve uniform steel.  

According to the assembly mode, ladle purging plug can be divided into integrated purging plug and seperated purging plug. Both are composed of purging plug core and well block. 

The materials of ladle purging plug are mainly sintered magnesia, magnesia chromium, high aluminum and corundum. It is a better choice to use corundum as the main crystal phase of the breathable brick. 

To realize the argon blowing process, the ladle purging plug must have good high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, thermal shock resistance, high temperature volume stability and high strength, stable operation, good air permeability, accurate dimensions, and less molten steel penetration. In the actual field use results, it is found that the non-oxide bonded corundum purging plug has the characteristics of good thermal shock resistance, non-wetting with molten steel, high blow-through rate during use, easy to clean by oxygen blowing, and low corrosion rate. At the same time, the service life has also been significantly improved.
