Coil Grout Introduction:
Coil grout is a kind of fused corundum based coating material, mainly used on the inner surface of the coil of coreless induction furnace as insulation and protection material.

Coil grout is applied in crucible induction furnaces direct to the coil, which is insulated with intermediate layers. Coil grout is made of high alumina refractory materials and high temperature resistant adhesives. Used for coating the surface of coil in electric furnace to prevent the damaged by metal erosion.

Coil grout is recommended for use as a grouting compound to coat coils in induction furnaces. Coil grout requires to be mixed with water and then applied by trowelling. Coil grout provides a smooth surface to the slip plane medium in order to allow uninhibited expansion and contraction of the working lining.

Coil Grout Advantages:

High thermal conductivity;

To the greatest extent possible prevent molten steel leakage from happenning or enlarging.
Coil grout has good high temperature property, which can protect coil from metal melt corrosion when metal melt permeates furnace lining.
