EAF Dry Ramming Mix Introduction:

EAF dry ramming mix is prepared according to the particle packing theory by selecting advanced synthetic raw materials, additives and binders. EAF dry ramming mix has the advantages of strong penetration resistance, corrosion resistance, easy sintering, high packing density and convenient installation. EAF dry ramming mix is an ideal material for electric furnace bottoms in the steel industry.


Under normal circumstances, the one-time life of dry ramming mass can reach more than 300 furnaces, and it can be extended to 500~600 furnaces through hot repair, and even some products on the market can reach more than 600 furnaces.
Construction of EAF Dry Ramming Mass:
Before the construction of the electric furnace bottom dry ramming material, attention should be paid to clean up the permanent layer residue, dust, iron wire, plastic cloth and other foreign objects. Calculate the knot size, the actual knot thickness is equal to the required knot thickness multiplied by 1.09, and a sufficient amount of ramming material should be prepared according to the construction furnace slope and furnace bottom size.
After receiving the material, check whether the ramming material has debris. If it is damp, the debris should be cleaned up. The damp material should not be used, and the knotting equipment such as rammers, pneumatic picks, etc. should be prepared.
